Understanding economics is not a luxury in today’s business world. If you are a business leader, you get affected everyday by economic dynamics. And thus, it is very critical to understand how the economy works on the local and global levels and how this affects your business. In addition, you need to learn how best to cope with such changes.

Within the context of the course, you will get to understand the principles of economics which are the basis for all branches of economics. You will then get introduced to microeconomics, which helps you to understand the behavior of different consumers in light of understanding the basic tenets of supply and demand. Enlarging the scope a bit, you will learn about macroeconomics and how the economy operates, especially the dynamics of fiscal and monetary policy. Going outside Egypt, you will understand how the local economy interacts with the rest of the world.

Not only is it important to understand the different economic factors, but also it is important to understand how to analyze their implications for your business and how best to cope with them.
