Navigating Asian Markets: Long-Term Strategies for Business Success

Asia’s vibrant markets offer a distinctive combination of challenges and opportunities for businesses seeking sustainable growth. This course examines how some of the region’s most iconic and enduring brands have succeeded by adapting to dynamic environments and addressing evolving challenges and trade disputes.

Through case studies, market visits, and discussions, the course highlights strategies that empower businesses to manage economic volatility, embrace cultural diversity, navigate regulatory frameworks, and respond to trade tensions — all while maintaining sustainable practices. Key themes include fostering market resilience, embracing cultural adaptability, and driving innovation in response to shifting trends.

As a global financial hub with a strategic location and robust legal framework, Hong Kong provides an ideal vantage point for exploring these dynamics. Participants will also benefit from HKUST’s strong connections with regional industries, gaining a deeper understanding of the region’s unique dynamics and strategies for success.
