Global Network Students Visit Three Top Corporations in New York

Students at the Yale School of Management for Global Network Week traveled to New York to meet with top-level executives.

Students studying behavioral science during Global Network Week at the Yale School of Management visited three corporations—Hearst Corporation, Time Warner, and Credit Suisse—during a trip to New York City. While there, they met with top executives, who discussed their companies’ strategies for prospering in a globalized economy.

Jacques Botbol, an MBA candidate at Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, said the concepts discussed in the classroom during the week came alive during the discussions. “Some things that the senior managers said connected the dots and that’s what helps,” Botbol said. “You learn some things as an MBA and think you understand them, but then you hear from the senior managers and you can conceptualize them in practice.
