The Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM), a group of top business schools spanning six continents, is expanding its reach in Central and Eastern Europe, with Kozminski University joining as its 32nd member.  The prestigious consortium is dedicated to stimulating innovation and creating added value by connecting leading business schools from around the world. As the top business school in Poland and the first institution from Central and Eastern Europe to join the Global Network, Kozminski University's membership underscores the geographical expansion of the network and its commitment to constant development and the pursuit of new solutions.

The Global Network brings the best business schools from around the world together. By leveraging modern technologies and building strong relationships, it exerts a transformative impact on education, particularly in the field of management. Global Network Weeks, for example, give students and faculty the opportunity to pursue intensive study at another school, by attending classes, touring local businesses, and meeting with international experts. Founded by Yale School of Management, the network includes the top business schools from all regions of the globe. It has a strong representation from Europe, including ESMT Berlin, HEC Paris, IE Business School, and SDA Bocconi School of Management.

“We warmly welcome Kozminski University to our Global Network. Kozminski is an exceptional institution with international renown, offering tremendous opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and alumni,” said Jörg Rocholl, ESMT president and chair of the GNAM steering committee. “The university brings knowledge and an inspiring perspective on leadership. In addition to being an excellent business school, Kozminski stands out for its combination of academia with a practical perspective. As leader in Poland, the university is highly internationalized, attracting students and faculty from all over the world.”

Professor Grzegorz Mazurek, rector of Kozminski University, emphasized,” Our university proudly joins the magnificent, highly prestigious, and continuously evolving network of business schools worldwide. The Global Network is the perfect forum for sharing best practices and developing initiatives in advanced education. We especially value the network's global reach, closely aligned with our approach to business education. Joining the Global Network is also significant in further internationalizing and providing opportunities for development and knowledge exchange for our students and staff at a global level.”

Membership in the Global Network is a crucial element in internationalizing universities and engaging in global educational and research initiatives. Member universities gain opportunities for academic cooperation, exchange of experiences, and organization of conferences and seminars. By partnering with educational institutions worldwide, they support the exchange of students and faculty. Membership in the network also provides access to educational resources offered by other universities in the network, including online courses, teaching materials, and databases. Students have the opportunity to participate in international exchange programs and internships abroad. The Global Network promotes diversity and inclusion among its members, fostering an open and tolerant academic environment.

Kerwin Charles, dean of Yale School of Management commented, “The inclusion of a leading business school from Central and Eastern Europe into the Global Network marks a significant milestone for us. This expansion not only enriches our collective diversity and perspective, but it also underscores the vital importance of cross-regional collaboration in shaping future leaders in today’s rapidly evolving global landscape.”
